HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS FOR VULNERABLE GROUPS

Why This Matters

Some groups in society face greater challenges in accessing healthcare due to systemic inequalities and discrimination. ZADHR’s program focuses on promoting dignity, inclusion, and non-discrimination by advocating for policies that protect prisoners, women, people living with HIV & AIDS, and individuals with mental health conditions.

Our Focus Areas

We assess the realization of the right to health based on four key factors:
Accessibility – Can vulnerable groups reach healthcare services?
Availability – Are essential health services provided adequately?
Acceptability – Are services delivered in a way that respects dignity and culture?
Quality – Is the healthcare provided safe, effective, and patient-centered?

Our Approach

🔹 Advocacy & Policy Engagement – Pushing for legal reforms that safeguard health rights.
🔹 Community Awareness & Training – Educating affected groups on their rights.
🔹 Health Monitoring & Reporting – Documenting violations and pressing for accountability.
🔹 Direct Support Initiatives – Providing medical assistance where possible.
