ZADHR TAKES COVID-19 MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING TO GWERU

ON Tuesday November 16, 2021, ZADHR took took the Covid-19 mental health training workshop to Gweru to assist HCWs cope with the pandemic.

ZADHR hosted the workshop in partnership with Gweru City Council Health Department.

Healthcare workers need to be capacitated in identifying, treating and referring mental health patients; raising awareness of burnouts as pertains to health professionals ensuring the mental health of fellow cadres as well as strengthening the referral system within the districts/cities for mental health disorders.
