SERENE MUTARE NOT LEFT OUT IN HCWs MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING

The Covid-19 pandemic has taken its toll on healthcare workers (HCWs) in Zimbabwe and globally.

ZADHR has come up with programmes to train HCWs on how to deal with Covid-19 mental health.

On Wednesday November 15, 2021, ZADHR in partnership with City of Mutare Health Department held one such workshop.

The workshop focused capacitating health professionals on identifying, treating and referring mental health patients; raising awareness of burnouts as pertains to health professionals ensuring the mental health of fellow cadres as well as strengthening the referral system within the districts/cities for mental health disorders.
